Sam Elkington acts for one of the region’s major fish and chip restaurant and take away businesses that has won a series of national awards. Their first major expansion into the City of Lincoln was some 25 years ago when Sam negotiated the letting to them of their current 120 cover premises located on Tritton Road. Since then there have further acquisitions in Sleaford and Ruskington and most recently the new “Elite on the Bail” located in “up-hill” Lincoln. They are now firmly established as one of the areas most popular restaurant and takeaway businesses.

In addition to this, the family also acquired, following the introduction by Sam Elkington, Welbournes Bakery in High street Navenby. This is an extremely successful and popular bakery which has again won a series of national awards.

The key skills utilised here were the matching up of opportunities with clients’ needs and then providing the appropriate professional landlord and tenant advice to ensure that the correct terms were agreed which reflected the current market trends at the time and which would ensure the longevity of the business. Here the third generation of the business is now working in the business, and Sam has been involved with three generations.
